Glass plastic (basalt plastic) rod
Is intended for procurement of cable-conduit lines, cleaning cable-conduit system.
Rod from basalt roving is applied as basalt plastic reinforcement. These products are made by method of pulling roving, saturated with polymer binder at continuous extruding through spinneret.
In accordance with Customer's desire, rod can be overlaid with wear-resistant polyethylene layer.
Basalt plastic rod is characterized by low rate of percentage elongation
at breakage - 1.2 - 1.5%, what is two times lower in comparison with elongation of glass plastic one. Modulus of elasticity of basalt plastic rod is 40% higher than modulus of glass plastic rod.
Basalt plastic resists attack by various chemical conditions.
To order we manufacture rods and bars O4, 5, 6, 8, 10 mm.
Manufacture of shaped glass, basalt plastics (pipes, channels, twin-t bars etc) is possible as well.
